 NOTICE REGARDING AGE GROUPS

TEAM MANAGERS ARE REMINDED THAT AGE GROUPS FOR SEASON 2007/2008

ARE AS FOLLOWS

          UNDER 11 - 9 ON THE DAY OR 10 ON 31 AUGUST 2008

                   (Born on or after 1/9/97 and already 9 years old on day)

          UNDER 13 - Aged 11 0r 12 on 31 AUGUST 2008

                   (Born on or after 1/9/95 and on or before 31/8/97)

          UNDER 15 - Aged 13 or 14 on 31 AUGUST 2008

                   (Born on or after 1/9/93 and on or before 31/8/95)

          UNDER 17 - Aged 15 or 16 on 31 AUGUST 2008

                   (Born on or after 1/9/91 and on or before 31/8/93)           

THE ABOVE ARE THE SAME AS FOR NEXT SUMMER’S TRACK SEASON AND ARE NOT THE SAME AS CURRENT CROSS COUNTRY AGE GROUPS

          UNDER 20 ON 31 DECEMBER 2007*

                   (Born on or after 1/1/88 and on or before 31/8/91)

                   * This applies ONLY to the INDOOR LEAGUE FIXTURES (including the Relays) - for any other Competition an athlete MUST BE UNDER 20 on 31 December in the CALENDAR YEAR OF COMPETITION

IN THE LEAGUE ATHLETES ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO COMPETE IN THEIR OWN AGE GROUP

In the event of a dispute regarding the Date of Birth of an athlete the League reserves the right to ask that a Birth Certificate or other evidence be produced
