Veteran star Robert Quinn was also in action at the weekend, finishing a close second in the weekly 5K Park run at Pollok Park, time 15 minutes 33 seconds.
The Alloa 1/2 marathon was also staged at the weekends and always attracts good entry. Robin Scott had a fine run to finish 2nd in the M60 age group, in the good time of 91 minutes 42 seconds..
