Callum Hawkins, also competing for GB and NI this time in the under 23s 3K International race, was 7th, again a quality run in a race of very high class .. and to beat World and Olympic Champion Kenenisa Bekele in the process, made it very special.

In the Celtic International u17s race, it was a remarkable 1-2-3 for Scotland and Kilbarchan with Euan Gillham 1st, Callum Matthews 2nd and Gavin McArdle 3rd .. a really spectacular result for the local boys ..
