| The second meeting of the Scottish Indoor League took place at the Kelvin Hall last weekend and as a result, Kilbarchan Athletic Club has three teams qualified for the Finals later in March.
The under 20 women qualified with winning performances for Judith McNicol who won the Triple Jump (10.24m) and the 60metres Hurdles (10.44s) and Natalie Sharp who won the 800m in 2 minutes 22.2 seconds while Emma Pettigrew was 3rd in the 60metres.
The under 17 men's team had disappointed at the first meeting but this time they dominated with several individual wins. David Kerr smashed his best for the 60m, timed at 7.30s and James Quinn tied for 1st in the 200m with 24.3s. Andrew Cunningham had a double, winning the Shot (11.79m) and the 60m Hurdles (9.39s) while Jack Lochans won the High Jump with a 1.85m clearance and Adrian Mendez-McVeigh was 2nd in the 400m.
The under 11 boys team also qualified with a good all round performance including Andrew MacAngus 3rd in the 600m (2.10.3).
Under 17 women were unlucky to just miss out despite a big effort from Hazel Ross who won the 60m (8.22s), the 60m Hurdles (9.16s) and joint first in the High Jump (1.55m) while Sarah Glenny was 2nd in the 300m (43.4s).
